This tour combines adrenaline, landscapes of the Sacred Valley, and ancestral heritage, riding ATVs through some of the most representative scenarios of the region. It is an ideal experience for those who want to enjoy the freedom of riding in nature without previous experience, complemented by cultural visits of great historical value.
The ATV route runs through agricultural fields, high-Andean plains, and snow-capped mountains, offering a strong sense of freedom and direct connection with the landscape. Huaypo Lagoon, with its calm waters and rural surroundings, becomes the perfect spot to stop, take photographs, and enjoy the silence of the Andes.
The experience is completed with a visit to the Maras Salt Mines, an ancestral system of more than 3,000 salt ponds that have been in operation since pre-Inca times. From this natural viewpoint, visitors enjoy privileged views of the Veronica and Chicón snow-capped mountains, closing the tour with a strong cultural and scenic component.

Itinerary
Pick-up and departure: Pick-up from your hotel between 6:10 and 6:50 a.m. to start the journey to the Cruzpata sector, the starting point of the activity (approx. 50 minutes).
Practice and preparation: Upon arrival, a safety briefing and riding practice are conducted, allowing all participants to become familiar with the ATVs before starting the route.
ATV route – Huaypo Lagoon: Start of the ATV ride on Honda TRX 250 ATVs, crossing open Andean landscapes until reaching Huaypo Lagoon.
Total ATV riding time: approx. 2 hours (round trip)
Photo stops and free time to enjoy the natural surroundings.
Maras Salt Mines: Return to Cruzpata and continuation by tourist transport to the Maras Salt Mines (for safety reasons, entry is not done by ATV).
Free time to observe the salt ponds and the Sacred Valley landscape.
Return to Cusco: Return trip to the city of Cusco, with approximate arrival at Plaza Regocijo at 1:00 p.m.
