Itinerary
Hotel pick-up – Transfer to the train station : Early in the morning, our team will pick you up from your hotel in the city of Cusco and transfer you comfortably to the corresponding train station (Ollantaytambo or Poroy, depending on availability). During the journey, you will be able to appreciate the landscapes of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Train journey to Aguas Calientes: We will board the tourist train bound for Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Town.
The journey lasts approximately 2 hours, passing through valleys, Andean mountains, and the Vilcanota River canyon, offering spectacular views throughout the trip.
Upon arrival, our local guide will welcome you and assist you with the next part of the journey.
Bus ascent to Machu Picchu: We will continue the journey aboard the ecological bus that ascends to the entrance of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. This ride lasts approximately 25 minutes and offers impressive views of the natural surroundings that embrace the citadel.
Entrance and guided visit to Machu Picchu: After passing the entrance control, you will enjoy the first panoramic views of Machu Picchu, one of the most anticipated moments of the trip, ideal for photography and contemplation.
Then, we will begin a guided tour of approximately 2 hours through the most representative sectors of the citadel, accompanied by a professional authorized guide, who will share historical information, archaeological details, and lesser-known stories.
During the visit, you will learn about:

- The ceremonial, religious, and agricultural use of the citadel.
