After breakfast, we continue to Soraypampa, a wide plain surrounded by snow-capped mountains where the hike begins. The trail ascends gradually but steadily, passing stone paths, ravines, and natural viewpoints.

After approximately one and a half hours of hiking, Humantay Lake appears before us, famous for its intense turquoise waters that change shades depending on the sunlight. Located at the foot of the Humantay Glacier, its cold, crystal-clear waters are fed by glacial melt, creating a unique and powerful atmosphere. It is the perfect place to rest, meditate, and capture unforgettable photographs.
